Hey everyone, I'm not much a bike guy in any capacity, but I dont currently have a car and ended up buying an old mountain bike off a coworker. I havent really used it much though and am thinking about selling it for some money to put towards a car or ebike or something. Was hoping this group might be able to tell me something about it.

It’s a genuine all time legendary bike!
The RM7 changed the sport . It’s a bit fragile , but watch any of the old Kranked films to see what that bike can do.

Current resale value is much lower than the emotional value.

I was riding on north shore many years ago and saw a dude destroy the rear end on one of these and yelled “Thrustlink turns to bustlink!” and I think about that every time I see one.
This bike is SUPER cool for nostalgia factor. This is the type of bike I want to hang up as art. There are a couple collectors of old cool stuff like this around. I don’t know what you paid, but it does have some value to the right buyer.
