It has Ultegra di2 and rim brakes. It fits but I'm torn between this and a new Merida Scultura Endurance 400 (aluminum frame) with mechanical 105 and hydraulic disc brakes. What would you choose?

I would take the aluminum frame with mech 105 and hydraulic disk over a 15 year old 10 speed carbon bike with Di2.
I know they are two very different bikes but I need some help to make up my mind. The Merida is selling new for 1.8k at my LBS. This Orbea is a bit less than that but has a carbon fiber frame and ultegra di2
