  1. The top cap is important, as it’s used to set preload on the bearings before you tighten the stem bolts. After that, it is an added safety, in case the stem bolts loosen up.

    No offense, but you should not tighten unknown screws without a torque wrench and some basic knowledge.

    Well, you are absolutely right. I used the Canyon torque wrench, but obviously wrong.
