Here we go. AAA battery for scale. The price of the wind noise reducer (WNR) does not include the battery.

It is a piece of packing foam. This is wind noise reducer (WNR) version 0.0012.AZ.

I wear a headband to keep sweat out of my eyes. I put my earplug then I tuck the foam under the band and position it vertically just before my ear.

This removes 80.74 percent of wind noise for speed equal to or less than 30mph.

The cost is zero USD.

Disclaimer: always wear only one earplug. Leave the other ear open to hear the god damn traffic. I am not responsible if you plug both your ears and get crushed by cars.

Those Elvis shades with the attached sideburns might also work, if you are in witness protection.

I’ve always wondered why helmets don’t have some kind of wind noise reduction built in. With my ears covered I can actually hear what’s going on around me
