I ride an Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2 from 2023 with Shimano 105. Last year when I was cleaning it, I noticed that one of my chainstays was damaged (you can see it in the last two pictures). I couldn't really explain the damage. All I know is that the rear derailleur was knocked into the frame, causing the damage. I had the damage repaired in a professional carbon repair workshop. Now the same thing has happened again after just two rides and I'm questioning my sanity. You can see the new damage in the first two pictures.
I seem to remember that on one of the last two rides, the front derailleur did not shift properly. This caused the chain to jam briefly. This has probably resulted in the rear derailleur being thundered into the frame.
My questions to you are:
Has anyone ever experienced something similar?
Was the damage caused by the front derailleur?
Do I now have to spend a lot of money again and repair the frame, only for it to be damaged again after a few kilometers?
