Hi all! My father in law passed away this Easter. Over the years, we'd bonded over British steel framed touring bikes, him even helping me restore an 80's Claud Butler majestique.
I've now inherited his pride and joy, the Henry Burton. I was wondering about the age of the frame and components: what would likely to have ben 'original' (or maybe they are contemporary to the frame?)
I put the drop handlebars on, (don't like the suicide levers bit that's all I had), and moved the shifters to the downtube. It's a pleasure to ride, and something I'll treasure. Thanks!
