My 4 gears switch seems to only work for the 3 and 4. When i fold the rear part i notice the chain is not correctly sitting in the cog as marked in red above. I have few questions:
- what is the part that changes the gear on the chain called?
- is this part above broken?
- Can i fix it myself or need to send to dealer?
I had similar issue a year or so ago. The dealer fixed it but i didn’t bother to ask what exactly they did.

To add, when i switch gears to 1 or 2, the “changer” doesnt move. So it is essentially stuck in the 3 and 4th gear.

It’s called a derralieur, from the looks of it it’s out of adjustment or indexing as Brompton call it and it’s an easy fix I think Tsukim already posted the video up for how to do it.
