Starting in Pula the route followed the coast up past Rovinj & onto Novigrad.
Onto & into Slovenia, beautiful Piran was a definitive stop before crossing into Italy and Trieste.
Heading north to Gorizia/Nova Gorica we entered Slovenia again and followed the Soča valley up and beyond Bovec.
The highest pass in Slovenia, the Vršič, provided stern test to get to Kranjska Gora and onto Lakes Bohinj & Bled.
Ljubljana was next up before a return to the Adriatic Coast at Opatija and the ride down & around to Olomin Cove whersxwe turned inland towards our finish in Barban, for a well earned feet up.
