Welcome back to day 81 of biking from Norway to South Africa and day 90 of biking around the world. We are currently in Scotland while we wait we wait out our shenan visa to reset. And we are about to bike into a national park. So we had a bit of a shorter day today so that way we could have one more night inside and some time to go to the grocery store and stock up on food for a few days since there won’t be a resupply for a few days. The riding was lovely and we had another day of great weather which was very nice because the forecast for the rest of the week is looking like a bit more rain. Um, but it’s Scotland, so I guess that’s to be expected. But I am looking forward to doing some gravel riding. Also to stay in a Bothy. A lot of like countries have like free shelters that you can stay in in the mountains and in national parks and in Scotland they’re called Bothies. And so I am looking forward to that. It’s always a fun way to spice up the camping when there’s like a structure to stay in or cook in and maybe some other people who will be around. But yeah, today was a pretty short day. We only had maybe like 40 minutes left to go at this point. Um, so we made it to a small mountain town where we stayed in a hostel and yeah, got ready for the next few days. So that’s all for the day and I will see you tomorrow over the next few days in the mountains. I’m super excited.
