Hello, just wanted to ask if the Adidas Five Ten (flat pedal) shoes would be fit for xasual wear outside of cycling. I.e. can it be used as a walking shoe, is it comfortable enough to stand in long periods of time, and most importantly, will it look aesthetic? (Last one's a joke but hey its equally as important haha)

I have always had pair cycled out as my street shoes. They’re very comfy.

They aren’t very cushy so my vote is no. I mean they aren’t awful but if I had any other shoe around I would wear that instead.

I’m wearing 510s rn there great for a casual shoe and I also use them for work I have the 510 trail cross high tops with the d30 ankle guard and there super comfortable

Their ultra firm sole is for optimum power transfer to the pedals. Can’t imagine they’d be very comfy as walking shoes, which are generally squishy and bouncy.

I have those shoes and yes they could be worse casually. Mine are pretty dirty from riding so I generally don’t wear them outside riding. They do look pretty good though.

They’re stiff and you’ll wear out the tacky soles walking around in them

I wear them casually when I’m not in boots as it’s hard to find other casual shoes in larger sizes.

The soles are too hard to wear comfortably. Just get some casual skate shoes instead, they look the same.
