So, this was a dream project for years and I just finished it after months of preparation. I was going for a minimal black look with certain rainbow accents, and I think it looks great. It is a Yishun Carbon frame set, DT Swiss CRC 1400 Wheels and a Sram Mullet setup with Force D2 Crank, shifters and an Eagle GX axs Derailleur. I really like the components but did not want to spend a fortune, so I opted for some used components, like the shifters, the wheel- and crank set. Apart from them, everything is new. I kept an Excel worksheet with all my spendings an overall I paid roughly 2700 € for the bike itself and 250 € on top for tools, grease, Dot oil, etc. I can only guess how much a comparable gravel bike with similar components from a brand would cost, and I am pretty sure it would be at least 1500 € more. It is really nice to see, that it was possible to build this bike with all the information from Youtube. It is definitely an experience I can recommend. I only hope that it holds up, but only time will tell 🙂 Feel free to ask me anything related to the build! I am stoked to give more information.

Love the “murdered out” look. Sinister yet fast. 😁
This is sweet… the wheels are amazing. I have them on my bike as well. What did you pay for them may I ask?
