Pull the lever like you are braking. Behind the lever is a screw you loosen and you can wiggle the brake lever off.

See the band around the handlebar? There’s a screw inside that tightens/untightens it. You need to unfasten the cable so you can fully gain access to the interior of the brake hood from the front.

Loosen your brake cables and the find the largest flat head screwdriver your house. The screw is on the front of the brake lever.
