Oh wow! Yet another beautiful and enlightening story. It actually demonstrates the application of scripture in practical ways. For the first time in my 50 years of existence I see what it means to love as another human being and protect their heart as God intends, trust God's word and His leading, honour God and the other person as God's beloved amidst longing. To surrender to God's plans and invite the Holy Spirit in everything relationship. That marriage is about purpose.
I got married at 26 years and divorced 17 years later. In the entire time apart from knowing that marriage is God's idea, I knew nothing else on how to navigate relationship in the manner I am getting to see through these stories.
