Good morning. I had a great time in Enamp here. Today I’m pushing up through Andura into France and over towards Leoge. So, but first off, I need to release some pressure out of my tires because I asked John to put 30 PSI all around the other day and it’s actually 25 in the front and 28 at the back. So, uh hopefully they won’t go completely flat. Stay tuned to see if I manage to outride the rainclouds and get myself and my tent dry to my destination tonight or if the weather or my body and fatigue stops me early. I took a day out yesterday from vlogging. I couldn’t ride anyway cuz I hadn’t slept very well and so my body wasn’t really working that great and I was quite fatigued. So I decided to live it as if it was my last and just do the things I enjoy doing like wandering around the little town. But then today, Penny said to me, “What about if you lived today as if it was your first, with all the curiosity, eyes wide open, and without all the baggage that went before?” And I thought, “What a wonderful idea.” So, that’s what I’m going to do today. I have you on my windshield today. I know you can’t look around so much, but um at least I can see if you’re wrong or not. It’s less dangerous to me because I didn’t vlog on YouTube yesterday. The link is up in my bio and you can see some reals and some photos of the place cuz it really is worth coming to see cuz it’s not just for winter. Although these are all snow places, there’s lots to do in the spring and summer too. When I took the time out yesterday, I sat with my monkey mind which was quite good to do and came up with quite a lot of realizations. And one of them is that tours need to be for 28 days maximum. And that really I need to try and stay for two nights in a row and spend some time chilling in the day in between. And ride less areas. Don’t ride as fast of a smaller area. It won’t be the same when I go to Norway because it will be quite precious cuz that’s for charity and I need to get up to the Arctic Circle. But future tours I will be pacing much more. My steering is so much better with the correct tire pressure in. It’s funny that, isn’t it really? I’ve got it down to 25 in the front. I’ve left 29 in the rear cuz I’ve quite loaded up on the back there. So hopefully that will work out well. It seems to be so far. I’m not sure of our route yet today other than heading north out of Andor because if I go on the winders on me to TomTom, no tolls and motorways, it’s going to take us nearly 10 hours. And if I go with my maps on a few motorways and a few tolls, then it’s going to take us 5 to six. That’s without stop. So, we’ll probably switch between both. This is where Maps and TomTom divide. Um Maps is going to our right. TomTom’s going straight up. So, I’m going to follow TomTom for a bit. See See if it takes us a bit unies and closer to the snow. What the hell? [Music] See the skinny ones just off as well. Left. Oh, and straight ahead. And now there in front. Wow, it’s quite stunning. Just all day because this is very exciting to me. I love numbers. So, we got to 333 at Paracasa. Looks like there’s a nice little town down here. has to go and get a nice cuper. Thank you to Jane Hatfield by the way from cuper. I’m talking. Hello, I’m from Sy. And straight away we know we’re in France. Great. 5 minutes in, I just got spurted with bird poop straight between me eyes. Thank goodness I have me visor down. That’s where we’re going. We’re on the M20, but it looks like a right wiggly route. So, why am I shouting? I don’t know. Just because I am. All right, let’s get all cleaned and spruced up and then we’re going to get down this mountain because I do need to get a cup of coffee. What an amazing sight. I turned up to carry on this home and gardening, but never mind. Usually I go home and carry on my waffy coffee. Actually, he was quite nice once. Um, I can remember my weeds from the seas and the uh mercy from the Galatius and all from it was fine. I think cuz I made an effort. Never drunk a coffee so quickly in my life. I was very strong. I was trying very hard not to talk knots at 100 m an hour and she keep going for a bit though just running alongside a river. I really liked when you come because although it’s in the mountains, there’s a lovely river there and I do like the coast. I really I do like the beach and the coast, but I do like the mountains as well when there’s water around. I love rivers and waterfalls just to watch the the water running through. Heat up here. Today is a means to an end. I’ve been on the road nearly 5 hours. Probably been about 4 and a half of that 170 odd miles. Still got about 143 to go in a couple of hours, but that’s if I do 80 mph and I’m not going to be doing that all the way, but it’s fine. Um, it’s mostly tolls and motorways, so a little bit boring. Feeling tired now. Um, it’s what it is. The other way is going to take me 10 hours. So, I’ve probably set myself a bit of a tall order, but I’m excited about where I’m camping tonight if I can continue to outrun the rain clouds. Um, otherwise everything’s going to be a bit soggy and I might have to get a hotel instead. But I do hope not cuz I’m really looking forward to where I’m going. So, where I had hoped to camp for the night was a park for the night place at where I’m going tomorrow, Oridor Siglain. But I’ve just spoken to Lynn and she said to me that her and Ian stayed there and it’s a little bit eerie which I did wonder. Plus I’m feeling really really tired and I’m not sure that I’m going to outrun these rain clouds. I have managed till now but it’s not looking good. I have looked on booking.com. There is a some a few places hotels just an hour from here. So I think I’m going to head there and see if I can get booked in. My usual cunning plan hasn’t worked out too well. I’ve been past all these beautiful brown signs on the way off the motorway. in here. I’ve chosen somewhere that’s a bit of a city or a town that’s a bit like a French baseldon. Um, it was €49 on Booking.com, but it’s 53 here. And that was giving me a reduction, but wait till you see this. Are you ready? It’s like mental health hospital.
