[Music] [Applause] [Music] Here we are going on a little French trip cycling from Roskoff uh down to Geneva in Switzerland. 800 just over 800 miles. And um I’m going to dedicate this trip to my mom who sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. So we’ll keep you posted. She loaded up. Lock and load. Bit the wrong way round. So So Nick, here we are. We’re we’re on the way to the ferry port and uh any any thoughts on uh what what you’re about to do? Bonjour. So you’re you’re obviously uh you’re the French speaking amongst the three amigos. Maybe. So good night’s sleep tonight. Cracking on tomorrow. And that’s if I’m not seasick. If you’re not seasick. And uh I think we’ll be doing about 80 to 100 miles tomorrow. Are you feeling confident about that? No. Not one bit. Not one bit. Hi Phil. What’s your take on this French trip? Well, me 50 and uh we had to get him doing something. So, this was a good excuse. Is that it? Yeah. You got to come out of bearing that. It’s not 50 yet anyway. Well, it will be, but he’ll be feeling 50 after tomorrow. More like 60. Yeah. He’d be walking like John Wayne. Yeah. Anyway, that’s a quick news bulletin from Phil Sanger. Over. I bury my jacket in the bottom of my back. We are now at Plymouth Ferryport. All right, here we do something with guys. Oh no. Don’t worry. Come on. What’s this? That’s iPhone plug. What the is that? I don’t know. Turn that off. it. You’ve got iPhone getting dressed up by the restaurant with sticky old feet. Jeez. [Music] So we landed in France in Roskoff. Where’s our first stop, Phil? He’s just trying to work out how to use his uh Wahoo. So, where are we stopping tonight? 100 mile away. 100 100 mile away. You’re supposed to be our tour. 100 mile. Okay. Right. Off we go. Rodney, why not now? So, where are we? We’re on some sort of path now heading towards Mole, aren’t we? Yeah. And uh Rosskoff just behind us. So, this is the first bit of trail we’re on. Just just And why is that, Phil? If you’d like to run us through so we can let Sam know. So, yeah, the the uh the wahoo is uh slightly confusing when you’re uh when you’re not used to it. And it’s quite zoomed out, so it tells me quite late where I’m going. So, we did a couple of U-turns and then we uh found the people that did did know where they were going and decide to follow them. Phil nearly got wiped out. So this is W. We are bang on 18 mi in. Yeah. Straight over. Yeah. Yeah. Clear it. Okay. Clear. Coach Sanger, he’s in charge of uh directions, navigation, water, uh apple slices, little pit stop. We are 27 mile in. You’ve done it. Shazam. Drop rain. Now there’s Forest Gumplet. Uh, which way tape gallery mucky name? Bit mucky name. Oh Nobody went that far. Food stop. We’re in carhe wherever that is. Somewhere in France. France. It’s not what you’re saying. What’s Phil doing? Phil, come on. We got to find a camp. I ain’t got time for that. Oh, he’s playing his tire up. Oh yeah. 144 km today. 104 km. 6 hours 24 minutes. Average 16.3 16 ascent 914 descent 699. There we go. Done. And this is camping spot number one. You can’t ask for a donation, he said. Yeah, it’s free. You can give us a donation. The tent is up.
