A rear rack and panniers would probably help you a lot.

When are you going? I am doing this general thing in July. YYC to Canmore, then basically the GDMBR to Fernie and then the BC Epic 1000 route to Merritt. Not really sure my plan from there at the moment.
The more I plan the more excited I get.
My rig is a hardtail with a rear rack and panniers, but still figuring it out.
Are you trying to go fast, or happy to take a slower route?
