Some of these Win a car/bike/house raffles are genuine but I bet there are a lot of scam ones out there too.
Not a bike but a neighbour in my village won a McLaren on a similar raffle competition website.

You’re selling your information for a lottery ticket.
They in turn sell your information for actual money.
You might win… but probably not. Now an extra 300 extra India Scam Call Centers instead of just 50 India Scam Call Centers will be calling you.
Is it worth it? š¤·āāļø Only you can make that determination.

Ive won a “second place prize” which was a code for a heavy discount on specific items but the shipping cost was high as shit so that’s how they got me.
The funny thing about was that it happened twice and after the second time, I noticed their pattern and was able to guess the discount codes for the things I actually wanted. I told them about it instead of taking advantage tho. They said thanks and then gave me the exact same code as the first time lol

One of my best riding buddies just won a $10K bike. Granted it was a raffle but costed him like $60 and he got up to $10K in return.

Iāve won plenty on instagram, but that was direct from the brand like WTB, etc. as someone else pointed out, they are selling your information and then will message you as a runner up with a discount code to a site that has all kinds of red flags.

Friend of mine won the Dream Bike one a few years ago although I think it’s more of a bonus ball idea. Any bike and spec he wanted up to Ā£7k

I won a Stumpjumper Evo a few years ago with a carbon frame. This was a free drawing at the liquor store, a Bent Water brewing promotion. I was stunned when I picked up the bike.
