I've finally gotten myself a real used mountain bike for a great price, and after a little time in the shop it's been doing great! I managed to shove it in my sedan for a cross country trip, but I'd prefer to not have to do that again.

It's a full suspension Cannondale Rush Lefty, I'm looking for a trunk rack that will fit it securely with all of it's goofy construction. Any comments or help are welcome! Thank you!

Does that rear shock have enough air in it? Seems compressed (even for a vintage unit) to my eye..

Cool bike! My vote for a rack would be anything that secures over the front and rear tires, anything else will require Macgyvery. My Yakima stagetwo was a game changer.

All the trunk racks I’ve seen work in essentially the same way, it just straps to your top tube. As long as it fits your bike it will be secure, but it could scratch the paint on your bike (and car). There are also the seasucker bike racks that use suction cups on top of your car, but they’re pricey.

If a trunk rack is your only option, just look for any good brand that will fit your bike.
