Just got my first road bike — it’s an older model with an Ultegra groupset, probably around 15 years old. I’ve already put about 100 euros into new tires and tubes, but I’m still a bit nervous about riding it. The internal rim width is much narrower than modern standards (14.3mm), and I’m running 25mm tires. Most modern pressure calculators don’t seem to work for my setup and weight. 🥲

Hi, personally I wouldn’t pay €300 for a bike like this. Although it has a nice groupset, it’s old and I never heard of the brand. Nevertheless the bike seems alright and if it is a good ride, the 300 isn’t too crazy.

You say you worry about the rims being narrow and that that might get you in trouble. I don’t see anything weird going on. Looks like a normal set of wheels/rims with normal tires. 25mm might be pushing it althought this little [chart](https://biketips.com/bike-rim-width-tire-size-chart/) seems to indicate you are ok.
