Hello! I got this cannondale trail 8(used) [https://www.cannondale.com/en/bikes/mountain/trail-bikes/trail/trail-8](https://www.cannondale.com/en/bikes/mountain/trail-bikes/trail/trail-8) for a nice price and was thinking of giving it an upgrade. Is changing a fork right next thing to do, if so which one would you recommend me getting. I’m not planning on spending some insane amounts of money. Was thinking around 100-200$(wouldn’t mind even cheaper if its not worth giving that much money). If that is too cheap, tell me since I don’t really know how prices go nowdays
And do you think something else could be a better upgrade?

Yeah that fork isn’t great, but in my opinion a dropper post is the “right” next upgrade. That will change your ride more than a new fork. If you do upgrade the fork go for an air fork.
imo a dropper post would be #1

then a fork. The only issue with forks is that they are easily the most expensive component on a bike to upgrade, and usually worth as much as a used bike is
