I’m very tall, over 2 metres, and of course a cramped riding position decreases comfort, manoeuvrability and just looks like the bike is small. The stock blackout of the bike is attractive but I needed an extra bit of zing to bring the bike back to life.
New stem setup including spacers, gear and brake cables and of course the handlebars and grips set me back in total about €100.
had this Carrera Vengeance for 5 years. Spent 5 hours today cycling all over the place, then hitting local mtb trails in the woods. Absolutely in love with it.
Bars are Alienation 9.25 with a Salt AM stem.
Just a thought. I will say, hardtail with the upright seating position can be hard on your saddle area on harder trails. So maybe a comfy saddle would help too xD

Nice tip, they’re all just bikes!
you can always buy a bigger bike
Most people just buy a bike that fits them. But enjoy
Bemorebikes punching the air rn.
When I lived in Asheville I saw a guy riding a yellow Santa Cruz (? Regardless it was a nice frame) with BMX bars. Said it just felt good. I had my hesitations until he rode away and was RIPPIN.
