These are obviously branded maap, but they’re clearly different than any other maap kit. The sleeves have vertical lines like many other TT kits and the bibs have some texture. Maap just released some “pro” kit including new pro race suits, but these ain’t them. In fact, haven’t seen this fabric used on any other pieces of maap kit, maybe other than the pro bibs 2.0. Is this actually maap kit or just a rebrand of more proven TT kit?

Some Q36.5 jerseys have that vertical line you’re talking about. I’d assume it’s still Maap who makes it, but maybe inspired from someone else?

on the sleeve and left breast. You can never be sure that a company’s retail and custom products all line up.
The verticle lines normally (but not always) come from the garment worn underneath the jersey / suit. For example, [here’s a Castelli one.](https://saddleback.co.uk/products/castelli-bolero-long-sleeve?variant=40788255375445&country=GB¤cy=GBP&gad_source=4&gad_campaignid=17832737897&gbraid=0AAAAADCNwBUDumPghqks89OTjbBBWJHNE&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0LDBBhCnARIsAMpYlApJlQWbwB4Op0iPgJY-BZeYZA-1F4WyBECYu1K-PyOBEGyM8pgHfc0aAgHTEALw_wcB)

I think it might be a long-sleeve aero undershirt producing the lines? The suit does indeed look custom made for the team though, but a few other things are, eg. this suit has the vertical ribbed fabric seen on other brands (eg. Bioracer), but not available from MAAP as a jersey let alone a suit:

Plapp has a custom Vorteq one apparently, not sure about the others.

Vorteq were the rumours at the start of this season.
Not sure if these are or not but Jayco have definitely used rebranded Vorteq suits in the past so could be that. I think Plapp had one in the TDU this year.
The new **MAAP Race Pro Series** has been introduced, featuring an aerodynamic design with a distinctive diamond pattern on the sleeves. However, what I don’t quite understand is why this new aerodynamic approach hasn’t been applied to the **Pro Race Suit**. That suit still uses a combination of the **Team Bib Evo Shorts** and the **Pro Base Jersey**. I would have expected the new aerodynamic elements to be included here as well.
Another thing that puzzles me: none of the pros—neither in road cycling nor gravel—seem to be wearing the **Pro Bib**. Everyone, including the WorldTour team **Jayco AlUla**, is using the **Team Bib Evo ( At least its part of their Skinsuit)** Can anyone explain why that is?
Also, I’ve noticed that the jerseys worn by the pros have slightly different aerodynamic details. They feature the typical aero stripes on the sleeves, similar to what we see on this season’s **Privateer Jerseys**.
Maybe someone here has more insight and can shed some light on this. I haven’t received any response from MAAP yet.
