I‘d be very sceptical of the Meta being lighter than any comparable bike. Had a Meta V4, it’s a great bike, but it‘s a tank.
Can’t go wrong with either of these bikes. If the spec is comparable to the others, I‘d lean towards the Slash, as the Gen4 is the newest design out of the three.
Of course condition matters a lot. At that age ask about suspension and frame bearing service.
If one of the bikes still is on it’s original bearings and never had it’s suspension serviced, that would be a deal breaker if you have to pay someone to do it.
If you do your own work, it would be a great bargaining chip.
As for the price, the Meta is a bargain, I‘d try to bring the other two a bit closer to that.

I’d recommend getting one of the less expensive ones since the maintenance will be pretty expensive. Ask for the serial number before buying and verify it with stolen bike registries.

I’m not on board with owning a nonstandard shock bike like the Scott. I prefer the commencal over the trek but that’s not based on anything but vibes.

  4. These are all overpriced for the market right now. The meta is closer to what it should be priced at but still a little high.
