this I have never ever seen before this might be one of the most infuriating moments in tour to France history when the yellow Jersey wearer Chris FR was leading the race an obstructive crowd caused the cameraman’s motorcycle to break suddenly leading to a collision that broke fr’s frame this is unbelievable but the team support car carrying the replacement bike was stuck in the crowd too and couldn’t get through although FR tried a bike from a neutral support vehicle it didn’t fit frustrated and out of options he decided to start running out of desperation when his support team had finally arrived he continued the race crossing the Finish Line 5 minutes behind the leader however FR ended up finishing first place why because the race organizers recognized that the crash was caused by the motorcycle so they adjusted fr’s time to match the new leader giving him the tide victory
