Wales’ biggest inclusive cycle ride

Pedal Power Cardiff charity hosted its third annual Ride for All on Saturday 8th June to celebrate its mission to make cycling accessible for all ages and abilities.

Over 100 cyclists joined in on the mass cycle ride, which set off from Pedal Power’s cafe in Pontcanna.

if you are a keen cyclist from Cardiff you may well be familiar with Pedal Power cardiff’s accessible cycling charity which offers a wide range of bikes and accessible trikes for hire well Saturday 8th of June was the Charity’s third annual ride for all which saw over 100 cyclists take to the streets of Cardiff for a mass cycle ride to celebrate inclusive cycling in the city basically this is our annual event that we do it’s a right for all so it’s our inclusive cycle ride Space new way thank you to our members and to raise the profile of of cycling for all the ride was organized by pedal po staff and volunteers who chaperon cyclist safely through the streets of Cardiff from pedal Powers Cafe in Bona it really is a ride for all ages and all abilities and it’s really about celebrating inclusive cycling and Cardiff and promoting work that peders do does so we’re hoping for kind of 100 150 Riders today which will make a really great spectacle the pedal power but yeah it’s just celebrating U the fact that everybody can cycle the main 2-hour ride followed the river TA down until rid crossed Cardiff bridge and cycled through the heart of the city center passing the principality stadium before heading along St Mary Street in noisy [Music] fashion they went on past iconic Cardiff landmarks like the castle and National Museum and then back up up through ponana fields to complete their ride at ped power Cafe many of the Riders have been pedop power members for years and have formed meaningful friendships through cycling with the charity it’s really nice on a day like today to see everyone coming together and you see all of our members who have formed real friendships through coming and just cycling together um it’s brilliant it’s a brilliant thing to see cycling is is is a great ler I think and people can come here and Achieve and the pedal power Cardiff charity was established in 2000 and has two sites in ponana and Cardiff Bay it offers 25 different bikes on hire for different accessibility needs which can be hired out by the hour for the day or for a whole week for more information visit Cardiff power.org
