So today we’re cycling 230 km from London to Cambridge and back again. This is an epic called The Great Escape. The route starts at Via in King’s Cross and is then 230 rolling km all the way up to Cambridge and then turnaround point and straight back down again. Now this one isn’t a race, but it can feel like so if you get yourself into a fast group. When I arrived at Via at the cafe at 7:00 a.m., there were people double dropping espressos, so I knew I was in for a fast day. I managed to find myself a nice group where we could roll turns all day and we averaged around 35 to 37 km an hour for the rolling hills. The great thing about this ride, you can do it yourself or you can do it as part of the sports eve. This ride really is a beautiful epic. So, if you do want the route, the link is in my bio. Make sure to follow for more cycling epics.
