Great find, imo around that price is a great point for a first used road bike. It avoids the lower price models you will want to swap after a few months, but a avoids investing too much into something you are not sure about yet. It will let you test it out see what you like, use it for a few years and likely sell it without loosing too much.

The biggest risk though, is discovering something like a major problem with the bottom bracket etc. a few months down the line. They you’re out of luck, and the repair expenses are not gonna contribute to the resale value.

Just my 2 cents as someone who has gone through the used bike market twice as budget oriented student.
