I’ve had this bike now for almost a week and just landed my first mini hop!
I got to put many hours on it, and tdy I had no car to get home from work so I rode the BMX home and got to practice. Only issue is it’s 96°F (35.5°C) out here haha.
I will be practicing more to get it higher, but I was pretty stoked to I wanted to share. Any helpful tips are always welcome, and thank you guys for being so cool on my first post the other day!

It’s all good getting some bike-control as a beginner – just keep riding and flowing. From this clip, you can learn some eye-control …. The same line, but do it with your eyes forward; landing *anything eyes-forward make u flow that way. When tricks become rotation, your eyes-ahead will be *essential! They are important even in a straight line – look toward your next thing. 😀👍
Also: level pedals before the trick (even weight on both feet). Get low (squat) as possible before exploding tall. It’s a hip thing more than an arm thing. Squats and jumps *off the bike can only help you — ur jumping high with aid of the bike, and bringing it along … so naturally your legs/core/balance are things to train in life, for BMX!
Congratulations!!! Many more to come haha!
