I have nowhere else to share this so I thought I should put it here.
I haven't been able to ride since March of this year. I would go out and do it everyday up until that point before these killjoy winds ruined the fun for me.
Wind is just nature saying you need to work harder.

Wind is just hills for the flats. Settle in to a half speed ride and feel strong as fuck when it’s done.
I hate it, and have felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere, still ride. I won’t walk unless the bike won’t ride.

Yup, been there many times.
I always remember that, during his first round the world cycle, Mark Beaumont rode into a headwind for 2 weeks while crossing Australia. It makes my headwind to get home seem more manageable.

You just have to realize everyone’s speed drops when it’s a windy day. Springs are windy where I’m at and my 23mph group ride is lucky if we even average 20. Just how it goes, no reason you can’t ride in it though.

I remember being out on the bike, standing up and giving it all I had and going absolutely no more than 9mph into the wind. I don’t do windy days anymore, nope.

The only winds I love on a bike, are tail winds!

Nope, I get to where I’m going, then I ride back.
