Hey guys,
I have the chance to buy this amazing chainring for really cheap, but I was wondering if it’s actually okay for daily riding.
I’ve heard there’s some kind of coating that makes this chainring a bad choice for regular use.
I’d love to hear your opinion, since you’re definitely more experienced riders than I am!

I mean yeah whatever, if it’s less than a hundred bucks, sure, but it’s just a chainring. They’re all pretty much the same on the street.
The issue with the Zen S3 for a daily is cleaning it. The S3 coating is damaged by anything but mild cleaners/degreasers. Not something I would use for the streets. They are sexy af though.
