It took 11 days to explore the Netherlands, starting and ending our trip in Amsterdam. This video (Part 1) is the first 3 days of the trip (Amsterdam-Woerden). Because we did this in the Spring, we were fortunate to see tulip fields, windmills, etc.
Very nice video. For me 25 miles is a lot, you guys are in shape haha. How did you like the bitterballen? 1:00 16:40 Pronounced as 'Strope Wafel' 18:05 Yes! Gouda, not Gooda. OU is like the OU of outstanding.
Duin en Kruidberg is not a castle, but the ruin of Brederode very close by was, it is much to young for that for it was finished in 1909 but you could call it a mansion. And that was not the Keukenhof but just some farmers tulip fields. The Keukenhof is one of the worlds largest flower gardens in Lisse, South Holland.
I am in my forties and our country is so small that no matter what place tourist vloggers visit, I can probably say: " oh yeah i have been there, nice to see that again…"
An avergae of almost 88km a day is not bad at all, had you choosen to do 21.37 miles more (over the total distance) you would have rounded out a nice 1000 kilometers… so close π But respect, that is even for the Dutch something not many will be able to achieve. I hope you all had a great time.
