Hello guys,
I’m a newbie here in search of a bike to fit my current needs. My search has led me to nothing significant.
Do you guys know of hybrid bikes (which would allow me to attach rear bags, front basket, etc…) that have drop handlebars? (I prefer the flexibility of hybrid bikes with the aerodynamics from the drop handlebars)
Or do detachable drop handlebars (for flat bars) exist?
Or road bikes that allow attaching rear racks?
This is the bike description that would fit my needs. But I can’t find any.
My search has led me to this detachable handlebar called [billibars](https://newatlas.com/billibars-detachable-handlebars/54095/), but it’s not quite what I want or it doesn’t even seem to be designed to use with flat bars
I did also come across the [Culver road bike ](https://retrospec.com/products/culver-road-bike-14-speed?variant=40261848596652¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ax%3A18269493993%3A%3A&nb_adtype=pla&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=&nb_mi=119671053&nb_pc=online&nb_pi=shopify_US_6875418820780_40261848596652&nb_ppi=&nb_placement=&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7JfvqNvBgQMVh9_ICh3obQH2EAQYAyABEgJzsfD_BwE) which seems like it would allow me to attach a rear rack (from looking at the pictures). But in stock ones are far too small for me.
This [bike](https://www.rei.com/product/220761/co-op-cycles-adv-11-bike?sku=2207610004&store=169&CAWELAID=120217890016084649&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=112104540699&CATCI=pla-982131645551&cm_mmc=PLA_Google%7C21700000001700551_2207610004%7C92700058180287016%7CPB%7C71700000074421725&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6dTPz97DgQMVgktHAR0MPg-gEAQYECABEgL8f_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) fits my description exactly! But the price is way out of my budget ;(
Do you all know of any options available that I may have missed?
Do I need to buy two bikes?
Also, I am handy with tools and I’m very willing to improvise and attach rear racks myself
Thanks for your time.

Maybe a gravel bike is what you’re looking for? Have you looked into those? Something like the [Priority Apollo](https://www.prioritybicycles.com/products/priority-apollo)?
I’m fairly certain you can put rear racks on aluminum Trek Domane. Also check out gravel bikes. They typically have lots of mounts for bags and racks.
You could add drop bars but the shifters and brakes will be an issue, I was thinking of doing this however move stock the shifters and brakes more to the middle and it would work. Might not look right but it would work. I hate the long handlebars that come with my Trek FX 2 so I cut it down to 20 inch and that helped a lot, The trek FX 2 disk is $700 BTW
