This is my very rushed, very budget set up for a month round Japan. I had to frankenstein an old handlebar bag and old saddlebag if you can see that. I'm also riding with a backpack, only probably 500g but it has one of those blue foam sleeping rolls sticking out. How bad is that for aero realistically? Especially if I'm just slow af anyway. Don't know much about the quality of the Checkpint Alr5, but it's served me well so far. Would've loved some extra gears for the mountains but it's not too bad
