I have a late 2023 Canyon Endurace 8 Disc 105 with Fulcrum Racing 900 DB wheels and I 3D printed a gauge to check if 40mm gravel wide tires would fit. I added to the gauge a 5mm clearance feature and it fits in the front and rear with touching. The back probably has 1mm of clearance and the front even more so it seems to me that tires that measure 40mm should fit perfectly. Any thoughts? Any tire suggestions?

I feel like 1 mm of clearance is too little, especially for gravel. Still, 38 mm tires might be a good fit. I’d also like to see how 38 mm looks on the rear of this frame and hear impressions from those who have used them.
You don’t have 49 mm clearance at the chainstay in the rear. Can you double check that? Max 40 mm I would say
