Hi leg YouTube viewers and welcome back to another episode of our property tours. Today look at this fantastic weather. I’m here with Franc Williams our local agent in Baner deor where we are right now in the Pyrenean mountains. So Franc can you let us know a bit more about this fantastic area? Yeah sure. So we’re in the Hope Pyrenees. Behind us we’ve got the uh pictoidi really famous and popular area of the hope pyrenees and the hope pyrenees runs between France and Spain. It’s about an hour and a half from Spain here. This is the place for for the tour to def France but not only no no. So Beta deor is known as a thermal spa town. Very popular for people getting the cure here. It’s an amazing town. It’s got loads of bars and restaurants, shops. It’s 5 minutes away from here. beautiful 19th century uh buildings everywhere. So, the city itself is really beautiful. Yeah, it’s got a 19th century mid-9th century uh covered market hall and on a Saturday it’s got an amazing artisanal market as [Music] well. We’re around about an hour 45 from Tulus. We’re about 30 minutes from Lord. What is this domain where I mean there’s a clue here little int. So we are um in the domain golf country club de bigor. We’re on the 17th hole at the moment and this entire golf course of 18 holes spread over 56 hectares of land is for sale. So it was built back in 90 or created back in 1991 by a famous French golf architect. The current owners have owned this for 20 years and during that time they’ve really bought the development on. They’ve built apartment buildings, uh, the hotel, the clubhouse. They’ve really created just a magnificent domain. I’ve been on really many golf course. That’s one of the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen. Not only it features various slopes and difficulties with all the bunkers and everything you can expect from a golf course, but look at this. I mean 360° uninterrupted view all over the place with the most spectacular landscape scenery you can dream of. It is a busy golf course. Um there’s a good membership here, loyal membership base as well. There’s a really loyal client base. There’s over 250 members plus the people that come here cuz it’s open for all from a perspective of what they can enjoy here is the clubhouse, the bar and restaurant. The restaurant sources food locally and really prides itself with that. And the four-star hotel has 24 suites available. Plenty of space in them uh with little kitchenets uh living areas and space as well. So F speaking a bit more about that golf course. Yeah. So this is a golf course with um 56 hectares, 18 holes. That’s just an amazing place. That’s one of the unique golfs I’ve seen in the entire world. There’s nothing similar, I think, with the mountains, all those greenery everywhere. So, it’s a place to discover. It is. It is. And what’s also fantastic here is they’ve developed a really good practice range as well. Uh, so that’s in addition to the 18 holes and a putting green as well. So, that’s all in addition to the 18 holes. I’ve seen solar panels as well. Yeah. So, the buildings, the clubhouse and the practice area has photovotayic panels on it. So again producing their own electricity as much as they can do all around you’ll see water collection points as well for the gardens and the maintenance in the summer months and obviously here you don’t get as much of the snow but you can see up in the mountains you do so in the winter you do have the ski uh resorts very close by here within 30 minutes uh the tour to France comes through here every year it’s a huge destination for cyclists I think it’s time to discover the the rest of the domain and give you a bit more perspective about the buildings. So, we’re outside of the golf uh, clubhouse. Uh this houses the restaurant, the bar. There’s also office and reception area for the hotel here along with a lodge to function and also a seminar room which is used for different events. To the right you can see a shop at the moment a tent. Uh these are also used for wedding venues. In the last couple of years um this has become a really sought after area for wedding venue and they’ve successfully had about seven or nine weddings or so per year. And there’s 1.6 flat constructible ectars of land. Yes. Uh with permission for development. Yeah. So everything is um at the site now. Electric water. It’s a flat piece of land just behind the buildings here. I suggest we have a quick lunch and we get back to you at the hotel site. Great. Sounds good. So, let me take you through to the clubhouse. Here you’ll find the lounge area, reception for the hotel, pro shop and office down on the left here. And then upstairs, a seminar room used for events, and a manager’s apartment as well. And follow me through to the bar and restaurant. [Music] Welcome to the bar and restaurant. Here we can host up to 100 people uh seated comfortably in the interior and exterior on the terrace. Next door to here is the marquee which is available for an extra 80 seats for events that go on. [Music] Well, here we are in front of the hotel part. Yep. So, we’re here in front of the hotel. There’s two buildings here directly behind me. They’ve got 24 suites between them, 12 in each building. They’re over two stories. Many of them have terraces and balconies. On this side, basically, the views are fantastic. contains Baniard the big the city and we are just behind the restaurant. Yeah. So the clubhouse and restaurant are are just directly over there and then directly where I’m facing is where the constructible land is which is a flat piece of land about 1 point or just under 1.6 hectares. So whether or not that’s an event center or part of an extension to the hotel that that is approved already with electric and water on site. anything’s possible in terms of uh making this business grow even more than what it is. Yeah, it’s excellent development opportunity for for the new owner and an investor to to really take advantage of that. [Music] Franc the various types of apartments that we’ve got there. Okay, let’s go. We’ll go to the hotel. I’m following you. Okay. Okay. So, let’s go and have a look at the hotel room here. This is one of 24 suites in the two buildings that we’ve looked at before. As you can see here, opposite me is the constructible land that we’ve talked about earlier and the parking. And if you follow me, we’ll show you the uh room as well. So, as we enter into the room, we have um the WC and the shower room and a really spacious bedroom. Any guest here would be really proud to be uh staying here in this premium suite. Coming through, we’ve got the living space and a kitchen area as well. So, these are all self-contained rooms. So, if you’re enjoying a holiday, it’s a bit of a home from home here as well. [Music] Okay, so what can you not resist about this? Most of the suites and the apartment in this hotel have the balcony or terrace area. And what an amazing view that you’ve got here. And what better way to end the day in sharing a bottle of wine, watching the world go by, the golfers, the pictoidi bany deor. What more could you ask for? [Music] Okay, so let’s see another example of the suites in the hotel. Here is a larger suite available. So fantastic for if you’re visiting with a family. You’ve got also an adjoining room which we’ll go into as well. Beautiful views from um both windows and aspects. So the Jers to one side and the golf and the pictoidi on the other side. All these rooms and all the hotel has been renovated in 2021. They’re all really well designed so that somebody can stay here, use the kitchen facility, all in the comfort of air conditioning here as well. And the bathroom again nicely designed. It’s hidden away in the corner here, but an amazing big shower and WC here for any family [Music] staying. Okay, so this gorgeous suite does come with the option of an adjoining suite if you had a family for example staying. So if you follow me through here, this adjoining room just gives a bit more diversity if you wanted to add that into the stay as well. So you’ve got the lounge area and the kitchen and then you’ve got this beautiful mezzanine floor with the spiral staircase with the bedroom. Well, Frances, what a fantastic tour. How could we summarize that place? So, I think being um with this view and the location that we’re at, this is an amazing part of France. This is breathtaking. An amazing resort area. It’s simply one of the most beautiful golf you can find in the whole country. Definitely. I know it’s up there with the competing the other maybe a hidden gem that can be put on the map as well with uh with new owners.
