Scored this Fuji Suncrest off (FBM)Facebook marketplace. It was originally listed for 95 but missing pedals and had flats so I scored it for 60$. Plans to replace the forks with stock and the same with the bars and stem except the bars are a pair of Fuji’s flat bars with a 1” 1/2 drop. Also scored some Weinman 319 wheels with schrader valve holes off of FBM for 20$. So I decided to order new tubes and tires from Continental, tire model: Tour City/Trekking 26×1.75 and Continental’s standard tube.
Once I have these put together I’ll be having the current presto valve Weinman’s trued cause they could use some love or replacing of spindles. All in all really stoked to have a bike with gears for a commuter. Looking forward to building it to my liking. Was surprised to find that someone swapped the crank out with a 22-32-42 just need to double check the casset to see what my gear ratio is and might need to replace that or fine tune the cables or replace.
