Imagine going to school for 12 years, survive all the shootings and then pass a bus on the right hand side while on a bike. Those Americans must have the greatest universal healthcare system ever.
Cycling for 5 years and counting. 4.5 years on an analog bike, the last 6 months have been on an electric bike. It helps, but I'm still not impervious to being honked at or cut off.
In the Netherlands on one road thousands of cyclists and nothing happens. In the US 1 cyclist and total chaos on the road because drivers can't handle cyclists there.
If you behave like those New York cyclists in the Netherlands, fighting for space between cars and buses and popping up from out of nowhere, you get honked and yelled at in the Netherlands too. And fined. You are not riding the Tour de France, so take your time.

All I could think of was where are their helmets!

This is what cyclists actually believe. 🤣

That’s cos they only people crazy enough to bike in the US are alleycat racers
Netherlands cycling is safe well organised lanes compared to states where modern evils in today's world lives that's the United States .
XD that make me laugh. Nice choice of music for the American side
😂
In other words, Netherlands is very bike friendly.
And the US its bikes vs cars, a constant war between both transportation methods..
Nice video by the way 🤪🤪✌🏽✌🏽😂😂
jeez my heartbeat goes skyhigh every time I watch the episodes in the US…

This not only goes for cycling – this is life in America vs life in The Netherlands
The Dutch are in this regard literally at least several decades ahead then the US.,
regarding attitude and road design.
A dedicated YT channel explains it all.

Perfect, and the right music! 👍
The reason the Dutch don't wear crashhelmets is that they don't crash.
Pretty great! I'm afraid to cycle here in most of the Californian cities I've lived in. Plus when I did try it my bike got stolen…
Or the way I like to see it: Cycling in a pedestrian/cycling-friendly city vs car-centric city
WOW!! Epic comparison, with excellent cultural contrasting
Wow, absolute masterpiece.
This is actually terrifying 😲
TOTO KNVB Beker deuntje.
