It’s very dangerous to do that because Taco Vanderhorn takes so much catching. Someone’s going to have to sacrifice at least a part of their lead out train to make this catch. Problem is Sean, another kilometer ticks by and it goes down by five 6 seconds. Now this might play in the breakaway’s favor. The left and right you can see at the bottom of the picture. 4Ks to go for the chasing bunch, but Dicklar are moving up and Alpacas Kerning are there. It’s Bennett and Groves, their two main sprinters. Keep your eyes on this. Groves there sitting in front of Jensen Plowight at the minute who might be sweeping. Yeah, sweeping role by the looks of things for the moment for Plow. But what we’ve got now is no more other teams cooperating. No one chasing behind. So, it’s all Alpus and Dun to close the last bit of the gap. So, they’re trying to get it just right. Use one rider to close it down. Keep the rest of the sprint train intact. Walt Vanard a long long way back in this group and not together with Olaf Koi at the moment. So Koi trying to rely on Afini who’s in there somewhere but they’re all spread apart and pushing onto the wheel now of Valpasim Duni. Oh happening here it’s a protest. Get out of it. Thankfully it was kept out of the way of the bunch in the end. As if we don’t need any more nerves but it seems to have disrupted things in the front. It seems to have disrupted the breakaway as well. You can see the tackle father horn lost the wheel there. Three Ks to go. It’s coming back together. Venard’s back. Venard on the right hand side bringing Koi in the Muglia Chick Lamina right next to him. They’re just on the right hand side of Alpas Kunik swing through the corner. 2 and a half km to go and the catch is made. I wonder how much that affected the bunch out the front. They were certainly losing time. There’s little question about that. But after the protest across the road, it came back together. We’re going to have a sprint of sorts in Napoli. Not everybody involved and even coming into these final two and a half kilometers Sean there’s people getting out the way now but the big sprinters are ready. Oh it’s time for the cobblestones. Yes it is and we can see there is Albusin who has been contributing most of the work there in the final couple of hundred meters to close it down. We can see the cat with Sam Bennett very good positioned here. We can see Tudtor as well are very much up there but look at the group. It’s a tiny group compared to what we would have it was you know a mixture of GC men. So it makes it that bit safer. But we can see here 2 km to go all back together and we’re going to have this big sprint royale. Decathlon getting involved in the lead out now for Sam Bennett. They’ve brought him forward and now they’re contributing to the pace. They’ve got him the position. So now trying to line things out to give him the easiest ride. He’s come searching for the wheel of Caden Groves. Also Michael Zard is up there from TUDA in the black and red colors. Milan Fretan around fifth wheel from Coffee Swinging through the righthander along the waterfront. Alperson still in control but starting to run out of numbers just a little bit. They’d love for this decathlon rider to take them right inside the last kilometer. That was Dorian Gordon who finishes a humongous turn at the front with 1.4ks to go. Albertina here, but it’s a different approach this Sean. The speed’s different. Not as many people here. No, it’s not the same situation as we would normally see. We can see, you know, a number of sprinters are in a good position here with teammates, but we can see Olaf Koi. He’s quite a bit off, but he has uh Walnut with him here. So that is going to be very important that he will move him up here with a kilometer to go. He has to start moving very quickly because there’s a lot of riders out in front of him. They’re under the flam rouge and they’re on their way into the finish. It’s Alpasinda Kernik who are trying to lead this out but there’s a gap here Robbie Mchuan and is this plow riders gone or one of the others but there’s an Alpa Kernik who’s pushed on the lead out happening behind him but he’s gone himself. That leaves Groves with just one teammate he’s looking around. Koi now brought to the front and while Venard rides away he’s let the gap go. So Fernart now in pursuit of that lone rider. It’s Jensen Blai on his birthday. Try to surprise everybody. What? Fernart having to close this back. And it’s a spanner in the work. But Fern’s going. He has a gap himself. Fernat is there. They need to catch him. Almost 5 hours of chaos. It was dormant. So long. And in the shadow of Mount Vuvius, it soonly exploded. There is what Fernard. They’re really busting a gut to chase him behind Koi. His teammate follows. Fat is out of gas and now it’s going to be launched. Mosquet. He goes now. He’s on the right hand side. Coin the purple trying to come around him. Zard is behind. Look at that though from Kanan Groves. He hits the front like a missile. Groves is there. He wins. And to the line navigating the Neapolitan chaos. It’s Kadan Groves who once again in the wet wins in the southwest of Italy. Bring him to the south. Make it wet and slippery. Kayen Groves the Queenslander gets it done. Alphus in so much of the work, but that got messy too. Mosqueti took Koi to the barriers. He could have easily have ridden past and challenged. He was completely taken out of it. But no doubt in Groves he frowned. Fresh air, all the space, and he is one with daylight in

  1. Wout with a great lead out for Olav, made up loads of ground, gave him a sprinter's dream lead out, Olav missed the window and got boxed in.

Visma will be very disappointed, I think the contract issue is clear. Olav is leaving visma.

  2. Kooij, with another underwhelming performance… good lord, he had a free ride to the front of the group and just gave up the wheel, got boxed in, sat up. He should be leading Wout out if he's going to ride like that.

  3. Had anybody noticed? Lately in the last few years there’s been more severe accidents. It’s the brakes this brakes don’t give. They just break. Rim breaks are better if you don’t get ABS on those disc brakes unfortunately he’s gonna make it heavier. This is gonna continue to happen stop the excuses. Go back to rim breaks//if you don’t believe me, make a study on it, and you will be surprised room breaks are safer.

  4. I hope Kaden Groves did not come into this Giro hoping to fight for the purple jersey, as this neutralized stage he won, has denied him 50 pts. People might think Mads Pedersen has already won the jersey anyway, but it would be sad if Groves does challenge for the jersey but ends up within 50 pts of Pedersen. There is no such controversy here, but this thought had occurred to me.

  5. As a person with a Palestinian background, I hate everything about the war in the region, but for the love of humanity, dont put riders at risk of crash and injuries. It does not help anyone's cause.
On the plus side, that incident helped wout van aert move ahead.

  7. Kooij is so young man. What a big mistake he made and neither does he have confidence in himself to start a sprint and end it??? Thats why cavendish will always be the goat of sprinters he would have shredded it to the line after a pull like that from wout

  8. Опять по задам приехали, чайники несчастные. Зря их только кормят. Набрали по обочине калек. Всё, лошадь сдохла, слезаем.
