my chain makes this weird noise when it goes to the highest gear. i just put on a new chain. i was told it could either be the wrong size chain or the new cassette was too worn for the new chain. which one is it?

The derailleur is skipping gears. To me looks like the lowest point tension screw isn’t set up properly. It’s an easy fix. There are 2 screws on the derailleur one indicates where is the highest point the derailleur can go to and the other one the lowest point aka smallest and biggest chainrings on the cassette. If you don’t know how to fix it take it to a shop.
