Hey guys, I just noticed some pretty long cracks in my tire sidewall. These are on both sides of the tire. Front tire looks good though. This Maxxis MINION HDR2 is pretty new, less than 250km I'd say. Is this a reason to be concerned?

Looks like dry rot. That tire is not as new as you think it is. Look for a date code on it. You’re probably SOL unless you bought that from a bike shop and yell at them to give you newer stock instead of old trash that should not be on the shelf.
If the knobs aren’t falling off immediately, it’s probably fine to keep riding. Be prepared to fix it trailside.
