Hey guys. Hoping to get some recommendations on how to outfit this Salsa Ala Carte for bike packing. I’m an experienced rider but totally inexperienced bikepacker. Thanks!
Get some cheap bags off amazon, or borrow from friends if you’re new to it, so that you don’t waste thousands of dollars on fancy kit !
The cheapest is always rack and pannier but strapping stuff to your handlebars, saddle and rack is always a good option too.

velcro bags most likely won‘t work because of the external cables and slim diameter of the tubes, so i‘d use the attachment points. lovely bike btw

cargo rack and milk crate. the best way ive found to secure a milk crate is hose clamps.

If you can mount a rear rack, I’d do that as well as a handlebar harness and a frame bag should give you enough capacity to get out there.
