This one has kind of an interesting backstory.

In the early to mid 90s my dad and uncle rode for this local shop and therefore got some pretty killer deals on bikes, components, etc. My dad has some cool stuff from that era. As you can imagine, some other family members ended up buying bikes from that shop as well. My grandpa bought this bike new back then, and rode it a bit but it was eventually relegated to hanging in the garage for nearly 30 years (my whole life). I’ve been eyeballing this thing forever and it literally hasn’t ever moved. Never even seen it on the ground. Well grandpa passed away suddenly earlier this year and no one else in the family wanted this so I took it home and now it’s my new commuter/grocery getter/town bike. It’s been fun to give it some tlc after all these years.

TL;DR I inherited this from a family member who passed and now I ride it a lot
