Join me on a stunning 40km solo adventure through the northern Peak District, starting and finishing in Crowden.

This route features seven reservoirs, two Woodhead Tunnel(s) portals, two trig points and the magical Middle Black Clough Waterfall.

We also pay our respects at the site of the RCAF Sabre MKII 19234.

While my loyal trail companion Bella stayed home for this one (a bit too much for her little legs!), she’s still very much part of the journey in spirit. πŸΎπŸ’š

  1. This was one of the toughest and most rewarding hikes I’ve ever done – over 40km of epic scenery, peaceful solitude, and emotional moments, especially passing the RCAF crash site. Bella couldn’t join this one, but she’ll be back for future (shorter!) walks πŸΆπŸ’š
