I've got a lovely commute going where once a week I load up my bike with as many instruments as I can and enjoy a peaceful 15km ride on a riverside shared path. Does anyone else travel to work regularly with a full bike? If so, do you also avoid cycling on the road as much as possible?

I’d be TERRIFIED to carry my guitar (or bass?) off the side like that. I trust that’s a good pannier though. I’m scared of crashing and wrecking my axe as well as the bike, lol.
For now I keep my carrying as minimal as possible.
Probably not nearly as impressive as others out there, but my two most ridiculous loads:
1) Roses after valentines: My boss got some roses from her ex that she didn’t want. Instead of throwing them away, I improvised a holder with a biohazard shipping bag and gave them away to people in a nearby park/trail as I was biking by.
2) Picnic setup: Towels, yoga mat, picnic basket, backpack:
