Friends. My last post, where I half-joked about using the last drips from an empty oil container after changing my car’s oil, stirred up more fuss than I expected. Here’s what actually happened: I was walking the bottles to the recycling bin, noticed a bit of oil left – just a few drips – and figured, why not let it soak into this old, rusty chain on a $20 bike I picked up to fix up and give to a friend?
It gave me a little chuckle—saving a few cents, wasting a little less, and bringing a neglected bike back to life. So I shared it.
Apparently, some of you are so serious you’ve forgotten that sometimes bikes can simply be silly, or fun, or cheap, (or expensive- peep the Habit LT LTD or Super Six Evo hi mod behind it) or whatever you need them to be for you and for others.
Anyway—reduce, reuse, recycle. Don’t sweat the small stuff. ✌️p.s the bike didn’t explode and the earth is still spinning. P.p.s the car is an 04 BMW e46 touring 6 speed manual, m54b30 swapped – it burns more oil than all of our bikes.

What- what is that unholy bicycle-centipede thing at the end there? What has god done to make you so mad?
It gave me a little chuckle too.
People are too serious. They’re so focused on being “right” they dont even realize the humor.
