i got three flats in a month (just rear wheel) and wanted to swap my rear 700x28c tire to schwalbe marathon plus, but my local shops are all out of them, they only had “continental contact plus” in 700x32c. the mechanic attempted to swap out tire, but my fenders were in the way, eventually i had to say goodbye to my fenders and he said the front fender will have to go too if i stick to 32c. i found a “schwalbe delta cruiser plus” in 700x28c, would this tire combination work? i mainly commute to work and sometimes do trails, our roads are so terrible and there are always debris would like to reduce flats but with just the rear wheel replacement somehow i felt sluggish riding back..
