GENERAL STUFF
I am retired from two careers of primary school teaching when I was deputy head of a Middle School and Primary School, and as a self employed Chalkboard Artist from 2002 until I reached the grand old age of 65 in 2016. Since I retired it’s like a second childhood but with more expensive toys.
I have written a book ‘Cursive Handwriting for Adults’
published by Ulysses Press and can be purchased from:
AMAZON UK
AMAZON USA
Gear that I use:
DJI Mini 3 Drone.
Iphone 15 Pro for camera, generally front facing so I can see myself in frame. Super quality especially if I keep the lens clean.
Go Pro11
Sony IC recorder
Insta x3 360 camera
Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
SE mini microphone to do voice over on computer
Video editing with Final Cut Pro X
Polarduck Mini Tripod for mobile phone. This is so good and under £10.00 I bought two.
Lamcou bendy leg tripod
Smatree Tripod / mono pod
Mono pod is a Manfrotto Compact MMC3-02 and is very useful for getting high angles that look like low flight drone shots and so easy to carry on my bike along with the mini tripod.
My bike is a e28.9 Estarli electric bike.

Hello, John Neil here. I’m in the George Elliot Memorial Gardens in Neneton and this is where this year’s Walk of Faith in Neneton is going to start on Saturday the 7th of June 2025 gathering at 1000 a.m. So we can walk off about 10:30. What is the walk of faith? I hear you say. Well, uh, it starts from here. For those of you who don’t know, I am a member of the Bahigh community in Neneton here. And this tree is one that we planted about 30 40 years ago. So this is where we’re going to start from. And we will go and walk to the Muslim mosque and then onto the sheetara. Then across the park by the Abbey Theater, go past the Hindu uh center in upper Abbey Street and then end up in St. Nicholas Church which is just over here. Actually the final place will be the peace avenue which is in Riversley Park. Uh we last did this walk about 15 years ago and it was very successful and things in the world don’t seem to have got much better. So just to get a walk going with people talking together is all we need to do. It’s not a protest march. It’s not a walk with banners and posters and speeches. It’s merely a matter of walking around the different venues and talking and meeting with the people from different communities in Neneton. The final stage of the walk will take us through Riversley Park over the river anchor and on towards the P70. This is Riversley Park and this is the Peace Avenue. This is the Peace Walk and was established by councelor Don Jakes who was mayor of Nenit and Bedworth back in 1995 and it marked the 50th year following the end of the Second World War. And I think that this is a very fitting place to finish our walk of faith. And here we have the plaque which explains what this um peace avenue is all about. Let me pause the video now and you can read this at your own leisure. So, you are warmly invited to join us on this walk of faith on Saturday the 7th of June, 2025, starting at the Georgette Gardens at 10:00, ready to set off for the walk at 10:30. I’d love to see you there. Please come along. Okay. Thank you. Bye-bye.

That's a shame, I was really exited as I thought it was going to be a "walk along" celebrating our English ancestral and cultural heritage, and then I see you go and mention those foreign religious buildings. We need more celebrations and learning of our English heritage, because at this rate our grandkids will not know of it. The English are now a minority in most of their major cities, Leicester included, and this trend will only continue in the same trajectory. This is not about "hate" or "bigotry," it's a genuine and deep concern of the trajectory our ancestral homeland is heading. Our English culture and identity is being eroded. Not too long in the distant future it will be gone forever if we don't address it soon. This country today is not what our grandparents fought for in the wars. So many of them in their later years wish they hadn't have even bothered after seeing what the country has become. So sad to see.
Such a great idea! What a brilliant way to bring the community together.
