Hi everyone,
I am looking for some advice concerning the front load of my future set up. Just in general up front: I am planning a long tour (6 months +) trough Japan (and maybe Taiwan or Korea) with no ambition or time limit, just cruising. I will use the bike I already have, which is a Rabeneick TS 7. It’s a touring bike and might not be the popular choice, but it’s the one I have and it works for me.
But this brings me to my problem: My bike does not have the usual mounts at the front fork and the fork is also slightly slanted and I am unsure for what packs I should go for.
I was thinking either the fork packs from Ortlieb, but here I am not sure wether the mountless adapter would be compatible with my fork. Does anyone have experience with them?
The other option is a front rack/ low rider in combination with front packs. But I am completely lost when it comes to the compatibility with my bike of the sheer endless amount of options. Especially when it comes to mounting them on. Does anyone have recommendations for me?
All the help and tips are very much appreciated !

Something like the Low Rider would allow you to mount full-sized panniers and mounts on forks like that. It mounts on my beat up 80s Fuji, anyways. Worst case scenario, you may need an extended front skewer.
I too need help with this, so I’ll be stalking this thread.
