I am looking for some waterproof shoes to wear as we head into the great British winter. I have seen the blog post above and was wondering if anyone had an thoughts?

I have also seen https://startfitness.co.uk/products/five-ten-trailcross-gtx-mens-mtb-cycling-shoes-black these recommended.

  1. In winter I ride in Dolomites Gore Tex or Scarpa Mojito shoes. The first ones can withstand some serious rain for quite some time.

  2. Adidas just released a cold weather version of the velosambas. They look dope and if they are anything like the standard they will perform well

  3. Tbh this is quite a personal thing I find – I have size 10 feet so not massive and my heels catch on the rear roller wheels if I wear chunky shoes on my Brompton. Generally I don’t think short waterproof shoes are that useful though – water can easily come up over the sides of the shoe rendering any waterproofing pointless. From the list you’ve shared I like the look of the Chelsea boots the most.
