Yesterday i bought my first fixie in marketplace and the guy said that the back wheel was wear out and that it came with a hard (tubeless) wheel i can replaced it with. so today i went in my normal way to uni and it felt weird because there was a part that had a bump because of the wearing. After that i came home and replace the tire but after that i noticed that the old tire was 700×28 and the new one 700×23 is that a problem? i had a normal ride and the only thing i could notice was the hardness of the tubeless wheel.
PD: any advice as a first time user is welcomed.
PD2: can someone explain to me why this post was taken down from r/FixedGearBicycle

No problem, the new tire is just skinnier and may not be as comfortable. For the future, 700c is the rim size and the second number (23, 25, 28, 32, etc) is the approximate width in millimeters .
Th big issue is if you go too wide and the tire won’t fit
